New Moon
The New Moon is when the moon is at its darkest. It is the first moon of the moon cycle & from here, it gradually builds in strength towards a Full Moon over two weeks.
The New Moon phase is a more introspective time & represents new beginnings as we plant seeds for the future. -
Waxing Crescent
The Waxing Crescent is that the Moon’s illumination is growing & that almost half of the Moon is illuminated. This moon phase signifies intention.

First Quarter
The First Quarter is exactly half of the Moon and is illuminated. The other half is shadowed. This particular moon cycle signifies decision making.

Waxing Gibbous
The Waxing Gibbous is that the Moon’s illumination is growing. ’Gibbous’ means more than half of the Moon is illuminated. This moon phase is time for refinement.

Full Moon
The Full Moon is time when the Sun illuminates over the entire moon’s surface. This particular moon cycle signifies release and sealing off intention.

Waning Gibbous
The Waning Gibbous moon phase refers to the shrinking of the Moon’s illumination, & that more than half of the Moon is illuminated. This moon phase signifies gratitude.

Third Quarter
The Third Quarter phase, quite similar to the first quarter where half of the moon is illuminated. This moon phase signifies forgiveness.

Waning Crescent
The Waning Crescent is the shrinking of the Moon’s illumination, & less than half of the Moon is illuminated. Quite similar to the Waxing Crescent, just opposite! This particular moon cycle signifies surrender.
